Dedicated to Furthering Asthma Education.
Do you
If so, you should de reading The Asthma Education Quarterly. The Asthma Education Quarterly is written for health professionals who want to stay up-to-date with asthma research and medications. The “AEQ” contains no advertising, and was the very first publication designed for and dedicated solely to the interests of health professionals in the field of asthma education. It is devoted to developments, events, and matters of interest to asthma educators. A subscription to the Quarterly will provide you with articles written specifically for the asthma educator. While articles about asthma are available in many journals and magazines, the Quarterly is the only publication where the stress is consistently on education. We strongly believe educators needs to stay up to date on all matters that affect their profession; with this in mind, the articles are written not only from the perspective of the asthma educator but also to provide tips, suggestions and ideas for better patient education. The Quarterly is wide-ranging in its coverage. It includes:
The Editorial Committee seeks articles that are appropriate and just a little ahead of their time – articles on topics that are about to “make the headlines,” as it were, so that asthma educators are informed about them before they become everyday news. This can be challenging because the field of asthma management advances so rapidly. Hence suggestions for articles on topics of interest are always welcomed. The articles chosen for publication have to meet stringent requirements. Submitted articles go through a rigorous review process before being approved by the editorial board. The articles must be well written, well researched, original, current and of interest to asthma educators. They must also provide an educational perspective so that they meet the motto of the magazine: Dedicated to furthering asthma education. In short, The Quarterly provides the kind of news and information that today’s asthma educator needs to stay abreast of developments in the field. The Quarterly carries no advertising, is independent, unbiased, and has no ties to pharmaceutical companies, health agencies or other associations. Our coverage is as unbiased as we can make it.
