What does a subscription give me?
Each service offered through the Asthma Education Clinic offers different benefits to our subscribers. Our Textbook Supplements service keeps you up-to-date on the latest changes to our textbooks, including Asthma Education: Principles and Practice and guarantees at least six updates to our textbooks in a year, whereas our Asthma Education Quarterly Archive subscription offers access to previously published issues of the Asthma Education Quarterly at a set rate per year. Do I get access to articles prior to my subscription?
You do get access to the updates published in the previous six months. However, if you wish to have access to the updates published prior to the six months before your subscription started, you will have to purchase them for a small fee.

Can I share my account with a friend?
No. Your account is exclusively for your use, and is non-transferable.

Can I download the articles?
Yes. Our textbook updates and many other articles can be downloaded if you are a subscriber. As a subscriber, you have a password and access to a section of the web site that is not available to anyone who is not a subscriber. The updates will be in PDF format and you can download them to your computer. Some updates or additions to our Subscription Service may not be available for download or print.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
No. Unfortunately, due to the nature of digital publishing, rights and updates, it is not possible to receive a refund after subscribing. This is to prevent people trying to download all the updates and then claiming that they are not interested and asking for a refund.

Is there a subscriber discount?
Yes. Subscribers receive exclusive discounts on products offered through the Asthma Education Clinic as well as discounts on additional subscriptions!

Can I change my password?
Yes. Once you are a subscriber, you can change your password any time you want by visiting "Your Account". Any other changes to your subscription information must be made by contacting the Asthma Education Clinic.

There are two probable reasons you may be having trouble logging in. If you have not forgotten your username or password (for help retrieving your username and password, click here) then it may be that your browser is set to reject cookies. Why are cookies required?
Cookies normally provide an easy way for web sites to keep track of what web pages you visit and the like, and though the Asthma Education Clinic does not use them for that reason, they are necessary to allow the Subscription Service to know that you have logged in to the service.
Without cookies, this web site has no way (currently) of knowing that you have logged in, since it's can't distinguish you from any other visitor. Please enable cookies at least partially (for at least the "originating web site only") on your browser to use this service.

How often is new material added?
New material is added regularly to each of our services. Our Textbook Supplements service guarantees that there will be at least six updates to our textbooks (particularly Asthma Education: Principles and Practice) each year. The AEC Library has articles added to it twice a month.

We now offer a wide range of services that you can subscribe to. As such, you are not required to own our textbooks to subscribe. Even our Asthma Education Quarterly Archive does not require that you be subscribed to the Asthma Education Quarterly first!
